And the offensive line won’t be scoring any TDs if there’s no one to throw to. There are needs everywhere on this team. You can’t fill every position with one pick. That’s why you just have to take the BPA

Ask anyone who knows anything about football what are the most important spots on a team and they’ll tell you O and d-line. You can have great playmakers but if you can’t protect the qb or hit the qb you will lose more than you win. I will be pissed if there is a franchise OT or DT on the board and we take a WR

The panthers have a drafted a couple DTs during the Ron era but they have NEVER drafted a legit fuging LT. Just for once can we start this new era off putting a emphasis on protecting the QB? If you have a choice between thomas and brown you gotta go Thomas. I would take Brown if Thomas is not there in a heartbeat. If both gone,  i would consider the other tackles or take DE from iowa.

Problem is if Hurney is still here, you really think he's giving up on his LT he traded up to pick after saying he had a first round grade on him and was hurt most of the year. Also his 6th round pick that showed some promise? I doubt it, that's why Im betting on Brown. Not saying its the right decision its just what I think will happen.

Move Little to the right side.  He's not horrible, but he's not your franchise LT either.  Daley has proved to be good enough as the backup swing tackle.

Yes, but do you think Hurney sees it this way? And they won't move Moton in a contract year especially.

Why not?  Proven position flexibility only strengthens you case in contract negotiations.  For all we know, Moton prefers guard and it actually suits his strengths.  He could potentially have a monster year at guard.

We basically have to keep drafting tackles until the line stabilizes. The only question is are we going to draft a tackle in the 1st round, or later? I think we're going to take one with the 7th pick, but anything can happen. Little has the body to play either tackle position, but he's green and looked pretty bad at times, not to mention his concussion issues. We need a plug and play LT right now, not a project. That means if one of the top 3 tackles is there Hurney will take him imo. I wouldn't, but I'm not Hurney.
