Let's look at OL:  everyone wants a first round OT, but we have developing players at OT.  We do not have developing players at DT.  We need a C and a LG.  Get strong up the gut and we put less pressure on the outside.

Jeudy is one of the best WRs to come out of college in a while.  Imagine a WR corps of:

Moore, Jeudy, Samuels, Hogan, and Zylstra (if today was an indicator of what he could do for us).  Teams could not cover us. 

In the second round, draft a C or a DT.

I have made the same argument about Okudah.  Bradberry and Okudah on the outside, Jackson inside. 

We need to address OL, but do not bury the developing players at Tackle and address G and C.

Developing?   Who 

1. Little who already has two concussions, an ankle injury and was far from a Star by any measure   He is one concussion tO being finished   Ankles heal  brains don’t 

2.  and a sixth round pick that all that has to be done is a bull rush to put him back in the QBs face  

They are backups at best 

this absolutely must be the year they fix that bloody offensive line.    LT, Lg, Center.   Trai turner’s fat ass has been slacking since he got paid. 

OL sets the tone.  Period.  Don’t want to see QBs on their backs and a putrid red zone defense, look no further   It will be amazing how much better the receivers are when the QB isn’t running for his life 

It has been years since Gross and what has followed him has been a dumpster fire 

Football starts there.

Michael Oher was great, a concussion just ruined him.  not a coincidence that the one season with a serviceable LT after gross was the one really good season we had.

why?  We were historically bad against the run, so DT is a huge need for us.

Injuries caused us to be historically bad. I have my eye on a DT in the 2nd round Leki Fotu. 1st round has to be o-line or weapon imo.

Yea we lost Poe and KK, but we were still god awful against the run early in the season when all were healthy, and you don't know how either will return from injury as well.  Also, would be nice to move on from Poe and use some of his cap and we also don't have McCoy signed to anything.  We are AWFULLY thin at DT right now.  I'm not saying that it's my choice, but as long as we take either O or D line, I'm ok unless for some reason Joe Burrow is there.

It's very difficult to get your hands on a #1 WR or franchise LT. When I see them falling and we're at the top of the draft I don't even acknowledge DTs at that point. It's good to clog up the middle and slow the run but there are a lot of DTs who can do that in this draft, and other FA DTs. There are maybe 2 or 3 high quality LTs, and maybe 2 high quaity #1 WRs imo. We are at 7th, so we have a decent chance that the 2nd best OT will be there, or the best WR. I would never draft a DT over them with our needs.
