I love the tackles in this draft but if Hurney sticks around as a first round pick advisor or whatever i think they give Little a weight room program and see what he can do, and maybe look at a position other than OT. I'm fine with that if they still plan on getting some youth or depth at O Line (all positions) elsewhere. And it also means we can draft a corner first. Bc we don't have guys who can cover man to man.

Only way Simmons logically makes sense is if we Trade Kuechly (for a first plus) and put him at MLB where he'll play in the NFL. Bc he's another Urlacher. And that is a lot of work and alot of fanbase convincing.

And honestly if Simmons is as good as Clemson fans say and is as big a playmaker in coverage as he looks, he's going to Detroit at 3. They got no one in the middle of their defense and oddly they have corners outside to rationalize passing on Okudah

Simmons is listed at 230 lb. I think that’s a friggin lie. The kid looks like he’s 205 the most. He’ll have to play that Derwin James type safety in the NFL.

Simmons is a safety in the next level. Kid is long, lengthy but very slim. No way he is 230 lb

He's a Nfl coverage linebacker, he's already bigger than Deon Jones in Atlanta and is basically a better version of him

I think he can play a hybrid of safety or linebacker. Think it would depend on the personnel on the field.

The problem is that we already have Shaq playing that role in our nickel defense

Let's look at OL:  everyone wants a first round OT, but we have developing players at OT.  We do not have developing players at DT.  We need a C and a LG.  Get strong up the gut and we put less pressure on the outside.

Jeudy is one of the best WRs to come out of college in a while.  Imagine a WR corps of:

Moore, Jeudy, Samuels, Hogan, and Zylstra (if today was an indicator of what he could do for us).  Teams could not cover us. 

In the second round, draft a C or a DT.

I have made the same argument about Okudah.  Bradberry and Okudah on the outside, Jackson inside. 

We need to address OL, but do not bury the developing players at Tackle and address G and C.

The problem with this plan is that it puts 100% faith into young unproven players we HOPE are developing that the new staff didn't draft and will have no ties to.

For all we know, we're going to hire experienced NFL coaches who scouted last year's draft and had Little and Daley graded as rubbish.
