Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer believes Patriots OC Josh McDaniels would take either the Browns or Panthers jobs if structured correctly.

He adds McDaniels staff list includes Redskins OC Kevin O’Connell in the same position and Colts secondary coach Jonathan Gannon as defensive coordinator.

However, multiple league sources believe the shift in power toward DePodesta has taken Cleveland out of the running for McDaniels. (Tony Grossi) The Browns will interview former Packers HC Mike McCarthy on Thursday..

To me for us it seems as of right now it will be ---*Josh McDaniels* or Mike McCarthy--  Flip a coin -The way it is looking atm..

Matt Rhule says he plans to stay at Baylor ( $$ Talks tho )

“I plan on that,” Rhule said of returning to Baylor, via Alex Scarborough of ESPN.com. “I certainly think I will be.”

Interestingly enough though, he hasn’t told the Panthers and Giants “no thanks” the way he did with the Browns.

*He said the same thing when he was coaching Temple!

Doesn't sound 100%, and like you said about him not coming straight out and saying no. IMO, it's whoever pays the most.

Okay, I will ask in here. What makes McDaniels such a great option if he is the backup OC in New England?

Dude quit with the backup OC crap. Brady has came out and said he is a great OC and would be an awesome coach if given another chance
