Just read an article or Sportingnews that said we "covet" Josh McDaniels and the only thing standing in our way of us hiring him is the possibility of him wanting to go to Cleveland. The article also said McDaniels is by far Jimmy Haslims favorite, but Dorsey would probably rather go another direction.

Why can’t Dorsey get with the program and see what an obviously outstanding HC McDorkface would be?

Not sure if it has been mentioned here, but I saw a Tweet yesterday mentioning Dolphins QB coach was Jerry Schuplinski supposed to head to the Colts with McDaniels before McDaniels backed out. When Dolphins fired their OC yesterday, many thought it was to promote Schuplinski so they don't lose him. Now that Chan Gailey is coming out of retirement, it leads me to believe that Schuplinski might be the dark horse candidate to be McDaniels OC..

Yep. The Dolphins fired (I think) three coaches with former Patriot connections. They'd all be potential staff members for McDaniels.

One other that I think could be a pipe dream but who at least could have potential is OL Coach Dante Scarnecchia. He's stated that he wouldn't have come out of retirement if not for McDaniels being brought back as their OC.

He's pretty old, though. He may retire again. Even if he doesn't, we don't know what his contract status is.

And of course none of that matters if McDaniels isn't the guy who gets the Panthers job.
