So far, not looking like there are any others coming. Maybe the Vikes if they take a dive in the playoffs, but a lot of teams turned out to be gun shy. No big surprises.

If it winds up just being the Panthers, Giants and Browns...I really like the odds of us landing a quality HC.

There is still the question of the Cowboys, but Jerry Jones seems to be dragging his feet there.

Garrett's contract runs until the 14th. Someone speculated that Jones could just be keeping him on till then so nobody else gets him.

Little doubt that Jones is a big enough a--hole to pull a stunt like that.

Supposedly, Jones and Garrett are having another meeting today. Speculation is whatever decision Jerry made, he slept on it, and will let Jason know later today.

Who wants Garrett?  That tells me right there that Jones think more highly of Garrett than just about anyone else.  Anyway, the longer Jones drags his feet and the longer Dallas doesn't have an opening, the better for us.  Again, that would be the most attractive vacancy for a perspective HC candidate.

I don't get the Cowboys job being the best if offered. You will have very little control on the roster and draft. You have to deal with the Jones family which is a pain in the butt. I understand they have a hugh fan base but that's about it. It comes with crazy pressure from the owners to the local media. They quite honestly have not won much in the past 25 years and their roster is just ok.  Their salary cap situation is just ok( around 85 mil for next year). They will have to pay Prescott top money and a nice chuck for A Cooper. They will draft again around 17. You have an owner who likes to give medical reports on their players right after a game for the following week, and he can not help himself by running his mouth whenever a camera is in front of him. What part of this looks attractive?
