My only question regarding CMC was durability. At the time, I did say that some smaller guys are simply tough---some guys, period! McCaffrey is obviously one of those guys. He likes to flow like water, which reduces his injury risk. There might be something to that: Kind of like how it seems like drunk drivers have an inordinately high survival rate, but kill someone else.

Run CMC is a name well warranted.

 

CMC is a smart runner.  He stays very low and when he takes hits, it seems like they are never heavy blows.  He has a masterful ability to take the least amount of punishment possibly + lets be real, he usually avoids being hit altogether because his start / stop abilities and first step is absolutely on another level.  Wouldn't be surprised to find out he was a mutant of some kind with 10x the amount of fast twitch muscles in his legs.  He changes directions probably faster than anyone in the NFL.  Not sure why people doubted him so much coming into the NFL.  Lots of smaller guys before him proved that you can be one tough SOB and take punishment.  I think most people equate size too much when it comes to durability but player after player proves this is not the way you should look at NFL players.  Plenty of guys much bigger and stronger than CMC are injured all the time.  Considering his arsenal of attacks he can throw at you, by far his greatest attributes are his stamina and durability...they are nearly unmatched.

The survival rate of drunk drivers being higher than others is based in fact and is due to their drunkenness not causing them to stiffen in antipation of impact thus their bodies roll with the punches so to speak and come out better than those who are sober.

Was hoping he’d get the TYFS record, would’ve been awesome. 

How he did what he did with horrible qb’s, horrible lines says a lot about him. Whoever our future GM is better make it a priority to get what this guy needs.
