So was Cam....are we ready to move on from him and play Grier?

grier is new, he must be the answer

In my mind Cam is already gone. If he is here next year it will likely be his last.

As for your assertion that by my logic I'm saying Grier should be starting.. sorry, that's just plain stupid. Need to start looking forward and focusing on getting a team of people who will be a part of what is going on down the road, including QB.

A major part of my thoughts on Olsen is that he's been playing with the idea of retirement for a couple years. He's just been looking for an excuse to go and the only reason he stayed us because his ego had been stroked.

It's just time to move on from old baggage. It's time for new blood to step up and be built around.

We have no new blood to step up...our players suck

I love Olsen...if he goes to New England or another real team he will make a major impact

our team is an embarrassment and he calls it out

You're just as blinded by nostalgia as Rivera was. He'll be a decent pick up for someone if he goes somewhere, but he won't dominate nor will he be able to stay healthy and active for anywhere close to a full season.

I can see someone like the Giants pick him up like they did Kalil and wind up on IR a few weeks later.

Regardless, he's gone.

But I don't think we have to worry about that because he's headed for the booth. He's done. He's gone. I'm perfectly fine with that.

I'm ready for a rebuild and an infusion of new blood to build up with the few younger bits of talent that's here.

How do you give a guy who’s under contract next year and hasn’t announced his retirement a send off?

By being a better team than we are.

Well you can't exactly say he didn't contribute to the current state of the Panthers. He got his guy back and now he's seeing the results.

Valid.

exactly...at this point he's become a part-timer and a malcontent with two feet out the door. the sooner we draw a line under this and move on to playerswho actually have an interest in being part of the future, the better.

And who exactly are these players?  Are any of them currently on the team?

id love to see a list of these future guys.
