I don't hate the idea of McCarthy. I just don't particularly like it either.

Honestly, among the candidates that we know of so far, there's not really anybody I like that much.

And unfortunately, knowing that Marty Hurney will have a say in who gets hired just makes it all the more likely that whoever it is, they're going to be the wrong choice.

I think you have to compare what Mike McCarthy has done in the NFL and hiring long term stability like the Steelers, New England or Seattle. 
 

everyone else pretty much hires and fires all the time. Shoot the Rams might be next if Sean McVae has another season like this one.

Mike has the resume and Green Bay usually made the playoffs with him minus when he had 3rd string quarterbacks playing.

others are complete hype and unknowns. 
 

we will see what oh Dave Tepper has in mind.

I will withhold judgement, and let him do his thing for a couple of years, but I do believe it's silly to be running anyone out of town before they even get here.

On an off note, I suspect that Tepper has a boner for McDaniels. Just a feeling without any substantive evidence.
