Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Mike McCarthey from 2009-2016 all winning seasons. ALL WINNING SEASONS. I will gladly take 7 straight years of winning seasons and 5 years of playoffs and one super bowl. Unless you guys want to have three years of rebuilding he is our best option. My opinion.

Here here!  I agree!  People on here have lost their minds!!  Lol!

It amazes me to see all of the Huddlers destroying the possible new head coach. I’ll back whoever we hire, and you guys can get all bent out of shape about it, but like me you can’t do anything to control who Tepper hires. I just find it hard to believe all these huddlers are tore up about McCarthey. I think it would be a great hire.

Word was that the next coach is going to have input on the new front office hire.

But now you're going to let the same guy who gave us Ron Rivera and John Fox have a say in who the next head coach is?

Seriously gotta wonder what in the hell Tepper is thinking.

What are your insider sources saying?  What reasons do they give for Big Tepp's continued reliance on Hurndog?

If we want to be a team with an offensive identity .. an offense first team .. who better to hire than Mike McCarthy .. not understanding the negativity towards a McCarthy hire.

McCarthy is an offensive guru.

Go watch a packers game the last couple of seasons, their offense had little to no creativity. A lot of it was Rogers making difficult throws are creating by buying time.

Worth noting: GM Marty Hurney is heavily involved in the interview process, indicating he's safe, though his title potentially could change with a new personnel hire.

Disappointing but not shocking give Teppers comments.  Things never change with this team

In a 10-year time frame McCarthy took the Packers to:

The playoffs 9-of-10 seasons.  (Panthers have 8 appearances in 25 seasons)

18 total playoff games w/ 10-8 record.  (Panthers have 17 p/o games in 25 seasons, 9-8 record)

6 NFC north titles.  (Panthers have 6 Division titles in 25 seasons)

Obviously Lombardi is in a class of his own but since Vince,  McCarthy is the most successful coach in the storied history of the Green Bay Football Packers...

...the Panthers could use a plug & play talent infusion of this nature.

Face it.  Tepper will be content to go 9-7, 8_8, and occasionally win a division title every few years.  As long as he is making money , and has more wins than losses that will keep him satisfied.  That is what settling for a has been like McCarthy tells me.

I’ll take a couple years of 9-7. Understand any college coach or coordinator will take 3-5 years to get up to speed, picking their personnel.

Sean Payton made a living on that and he’s god to some posters on here.
