This also shows offensive linemen are the safest route, albeit not the most sexy.  We need linemen, screw the flashy, diva skill positions.

It's exactly what we need to protect Newton. Even OG would be worth it next year with how bad our line is.

Circling back around to the original topic haha, I do think we are in range for an All-Pro talent and want to stay put in the top-8.

The really interesting move could be landing one of two guys 2 RD: Jalen Hurts or Jordan Love (a guy I've really come around to despite his down year).

Even though both are mobile guys, they're quite opposites.  One has so much intangibles, leadership with some mechanics needing finessing (Hurts) and the other fitting the new age mold to a tee with the need to grow into a good decision maker/game manager (Love)

Jacob Eason isn't anything special.

Both.

Gronk's kind of unique, though.

To be clear, I'm not saying go after less physically talented players, but I do want more of an emphasis on smart players.

Lord knows not having those has left more than a few teeth marks on our gluteals.

Ryan Fitzpatrick reportedly aced the Wonderlic.

Give me Wirfs of Jedrick Wills

Watching Wirfs last night, id do backflips if we landed him

Agree that they make a ton of sense.  After Thomas and those two, the remaining OTs are more flex T/G or pure RT guys.  We should be right there to either grab one or the best talent at DL after Young.

Both can play LT as well, and honestly better LTs than the draft last year

@davos if Tua falls to 5 he’s going to fall a long way.

I disagree.  If the Eagles win, the Top-4 is Bengals, Skins, Detroit, and NYG.

I don't see the Redskins, Lions, or Giants picking Tua.  2 just drafted QBs who showed promise after rough patches.  Lions are a wildcard.  Next in line can potentially be the Dolphins, Chargers, and Jaguars all of which need a QB so I actually think it's the opposite and quite likely he goes between picks 5-8.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Redskins pull a similar move to what the Cardinals did with Josh Rosen if the right opportunity presented itself in this draft. Jones showed more promise, but did he show enough to make a new GM pass on his guy if Gettleman gets fired?

I haven't seen enough of Haskins to know whether he has promise or not.

I do remember them beating us, but apparently that wasn't so difficult to do.
