Cardinals DT Bryan Robinson: "We played down to our competition"

I'm sorry that DUHHH Bears don't have a message board that can occupy 100% of your time so you come over here and offer your "non-biased" opinion on a Panther board.

I hope you enjoy the Warner-Cutler pillowfight in the Windy City on Sunday. Maybe the Cards will reign supreme again and rise up to smack down Chi. a la Carson Palmer 2 weeks ago.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is what is known as deflection. The guy has run out of ammo, knows I've made points that he can't ignore and has nothing left other than to attack me. As for his contention, it would not surprise me at all if the Cardinals took the Bears to the woodshed- the Cards are NOT a bad team.

If anything, my "non-biased" opinion is biased toward the Panthers, which this retard should already know. But whatever.

Exactly. The Panthers are what their record shows them to be. Don't get me wrong here, I want the Panthers to succeed and win, but to say that because they won a game in an extremely emotional, vendetta game that they are categorically "better" than the Cardinals is 100% homerism.

Sunday, they were.

Which is only 1 game worse than your beloved Bears...who are sitting at 4-3.

I by no means am saying we are a great/good team.

But this guy should shut his mouth. Did we say that after the game in the playoffs when they beat us? no

It's about losing with class and the Cardinals have many players with little class.

The Cards loss. Maybe we aren't great but we beat them, the end. It's not like they are world class. They are 4-3, 1 game difference.

Every team has loudmouths with no class. I've been over at the Card's board and while they are a little sore about the loss (as they should be it was embarrassing) most of them respond in a classy manner to me when I give them the ol' GG.

I'm not talking about the fans. And I have to disagree about the players to. I rarely hear our guys say anything bad about opposing teams as well as many other teams in the NFL.

The Panthers still haven't played a complete game. This win over the Cards were the best the team has executed this season. It does show, that when the players execute, that we have the talent and ability to play with anybody.

Unfortunitely, it also shows that we are a very inconsistent team. Have been for years.

Still think Davidson needs to get more creative, and mix up our play calling better. At least our defense has continued to improve.

I agree that you are what you're record says you are - but you also are what your play says you are and we just finished beating Arizona with one hand tied behind our back (14 passing attempts) so that tells me we are better.

We're also 2 for 3 against them. In the regular season game last year we took their best shot and managed to beat them. In the regular season this year we played totally one-dimensional offense and beat them. You could argue that we beat them because they shot themselves in the foot like we did in the playoff game - but that doesn't explain why we were able to run for 270 yards against them.

Like I say, I believe that pound for pound we are a better team - we don't always act like it - but our best day is better than theirs.

I also think we are pound for pound better than the Bears - but I won't go there... LOL.

Panthers aren't playing the Bears this weekend... oh, you're talking about the Cardinals! Is that your new team now? :hurray:

And what team do you pull for, you're certainly not a Panthers fan?

Ladies and gentlemen I detect a Troll.Sound the alert! :aureola:

Dimbee? A Troll? He's been here since basically the inception of the first incarnation of this board, so I'd have to say no to that one. He's also never had any qualms about stating his being a Bears fan first, Panthers fan second, although it seems to be a greater gap between the two as of the last couple of years.

Correct me if I'm wrong here Dimb. But, to call him a troll? That's just untrue man.

    • I call bullshit. Brady,Manning,Brees and Burrow are all just ball distributors. And the better thier supporting cast and more experience they got the better they got. Thier best attributes were between the ears.  Now I'm not saying Bryce is gonna turn into one of them but what I want is for him. Is to have a solid roster around him and some coaching continuity too see if he takes the next step. Because everything I've seen and read after the benching is that his mental toughness and workethic are what we need in a QB
    • Many criticize our picks in 2024. I believe that most of them were picked because their ceiling is better than those selected before them.  XLs needs to learn how to play in the NFL. Once he gets up to speed he'll be worthy of 32nd pick.  Brooks, showed why we took him in the few games he played. The ACL injury really sucks but he can overcome these setbacks. Remember TD had 3 ACLs and eventually will be in the ring of honor one day.  Wallace will be a solid LB going forward with experience  Sanders, TE is a tough position to play. He a getting valuable playing time and will become a good TE.  Going down the remaining draft pics all seem to have a good upside. They may not be showing much now but they will start showing their worth next season.
    • I think he's shown enough that if a QB fell to us at our pick we'd either draft a defensive player or trade down for more picks.
