He is a good player and certainly a first round NFL draft prospect. I just think at our pick we have bigger needs. Clempson defensive players haven’t exactly set the NFL on fire either.

Yeah, don't know if he should have been ejected.  Definitely a penalty though.

You clearly have never played tackle football in your life.  Had Lawerence not lowered his head.  No helmet contact, no contact to Lawrence's neck and above etc.

 

 

They would have called targeting on Wade regardless if Lawrence dipped down or not. Engaging player was deliberately leading with the crown of his head. The fact that he made H2H contact made it about as easy of an ejection as you will see. Defensive players have to be smarter than that but nobody is going to confuse an Ohio State FB player for a brain surgeon.

OL and DL will be addressed in free agency.
