This just further lends credence to the idea that Ron’s loyalty to his friends did him in.  Fewell’s incompetence was masked as an assistant but now we see it for what it is.  Can you imagine if Washington was running the team?

Or Rodgers, my God, he has screwed up everything he’sever been given.
im not sure there is one coach on this team anyone else would want

2017 jags DB coach. Fewell is a pretty good db coach. People were thrilled with his hire here. He’s just not a HC.

You're pointing to a db squad that includes Ramsey as your only justification? I guess. At least he didn't screw it up. It would be better if he had been able to duplicate that in one of his other 31 years coaching.  I also suspect the #2 pass rush had as much to do with the result as the DBs.

John Fox: a punt is a good play.

Perry Fewell:  On which down?

Fewell asked Tepper to interview.

Josh Klein believes the Fewell interview isn't so much about the Rooney Rule as it is just giving a courtesy to a nice guy who's been put in a sh-tty situation.

Can we?

If we can, it's the lone bright spot Fewell can point to in his interview.  'Hey, I corrected the special teams problems.'  Other than that, I can't see where he has a leg to stand on in his interview.  Granted he got handed a sh-tty situation, but he yielded net zero improvement in a quarter season unless the Saints lay an egg tomorrow.
