I’m not the one screaming about a victim from someone who should be locked up. Would you be ok with that?

As I said evidence should play a bigger role than anything.

This post makes no sense whatsoever.

Take a deep breath, and a half-hour to simmer down, and try again.

EDIT:  Don't bother.

Innocent until proven guilty...so why arrest or hold anyone in jail if they’re presumed innocent?

And if you release them presuming they’re innocent and they go out and abscond or create another victim, what then? Is that a trade off you’re ok with?

Can’t have it both ways is all I was saying.

I deal with this stuff day to day so I don’t expect it to make much sense from a general outsider looking in.

And you’re probably the first to blame everyone once another incident occurs from someone who has nothing happen to them despite mounds of evidence of a crime and history of it reoccurring.

But in your prefect world a justice system should cite people for crimes, wait for them to show up to court, the admit to their crimes and get a fair punishment and money has nothing to do with any of it. Sorry, isn’t reality.

Look if that’s how you want to look at it then you need to be ok with the above scenario.

However in reality, everyone knows innocent until proven guilty isn’t the case. If it was bail wouldn’t be a thing, being arrested wouldn’t be a thing either. But it is. Because of evidence and because well it’s be really fuging stupid to let a dangerous person roam free because they weren’t convicted’ yet.

But I’m sure you’d still feel the same if someone you personally love, that could have been prevented if only common sense and evidence was considered, was violated by someone who should’ve been locked up right?

This is the kind of dangerous thought process that leads totalitarian states. It not only flies in the face of the intent of some of the founding principles of this country but it completely ignores some of the unbelievable and widespread abuses that are commonly seen in the modern American criminal justice system. The simple ignorance of the some of the complex and historical issues with incarceration in this country are ridiculous.

That's the last I am going to speak on this issue in a FOOTBALL DISCUSSION forum. I suggest you follow suit.

Poor AB, jumping the gun again.

Like is said though the saints really have nothing to lose here except maybe a pissed off Goodell for having to exempt AB immediately.

That was their intent. They just want to rile up the NFL before the postseason, so that when the Saints inevitably choke they can claim NFL bias to their whiny, dumb fans and then they can sue the league again.

They're the most aggrieved, entitled fans in the NFL.  They were pissed about being punished for BountyGate, then they were so pissed about a poo PI call that they got the damn rules changed so that it could be challenged, then there was a game where the rule they lobbied for was successfully and justifiably used to draw a pass interference call and they're pissed off about that too because it didn't favor them.
