sadly she's probably fired for that, loss prevention is told not to touch people

I mean for good reason. Lot cheaper to let him walk out than have some poorly/non existent trained person put hands one someone and get hurt. And it’s a lot safer. And it makes more sense Best Buy can stand to lose it.

But I hear ya. Sometimes employees just get fed up with POS like that. I remember working Blockbuster in the 90s and some dude every Sunday came in grabbed a few ps2 games off the shelf (why they started taking them off the shelf) he even had the game person help them pick out games and just flat out walked out the door with them. Despite doing this every other week and cameras no one seemed to give a poo.

One day I was one of two employees and I just got dumped and was having a bad day. He just strolls in does the same poo comes around the corner and I got in front of him blocking his exit. He said you don’t want to do this. I didn’t say anything my life had just ended from heartbreak (I was 18) I didn’t give a fug and I think he saw that. I grabbed a hammer behind the wall and hit the counter in front of me as hard as I could, the counter cracking everywhere. He slowly put down the games and left.

Anyways my boss gave me a $10 gift card the next day. Prolly cost more to repair counter than let him have games.
