Yeah, I'm a huge UNC fan but I want the best prospects for the Panthers regardless of where they went to school.

Now, if we're still in the market for a QB in 2022 I'm probably gonna be slamming the poo out of the table for Sam Howell.

Well you also haven't seen two more years of Sam Howell. He's a high potential guy but sometimes they flame out in college too.

That's actually a big red flag I have on Burrow. He basically was a one year wonder.

It’s evident cause you and him say so ? And I’m not a homer . Me being a homer is me saying he a star and should be a first round pick . Be a man talk to me . Not to him .

Yeah well it wouldn't just be "us." There is a reason the guys you listed don't make many pundits or mock drafters list of Rounds 1-5 players, because they largely aren't NFL caliber. Now, that doesn't mean they might not be a decent gamble in the late rounds for some team but you are just pushing them as a UNC fan, right? That's what I mean by college football homer. If you are a level headed fan or at all reasonable, you should be able to look past your love of the guys you watched for the years they played for your team and evaluate them at the next level without having that emotion attached to it. As college fans we can all be guilty of it at one time or another but to push a bunch of marginal late round prospects as being "loaded?" Come on, man. Late round picks are marginal prospects and few pan out. It is what it is.

Sure can, Ken Stabler, Boomer Esiason, Mark Brunell and Michael Vick. How about this for a stat, 10% of people are left handed. Think maybe that plays a role in the lack of left handed examples? But, I'm not the one making claims that left handed QB's aren't successful(read your original post). Enjoy your facts as you shift the argument to cover your obvious blunder.

You didn't make any assertion about the DL, nor did I say you did. What you did say was that we were dead last in run defense in the middle of talking about Shaq Thompson. You think Shaq was the reason we are dead last? Then you don't watch the team.

And as for Shaq's contract, I wouldn't have signed him to that big of a contract either. He's a good player not a player of the caliber that his salary indicates. As for Simmons, I cannot fathom using that pick on a LB with the other obvious roster needs that we currently have and with the potential of more coming in the offseason. If Shaq had moved on, we could pick up a LB in the 2nd-4th round to compete and/or sign a free agent rental. We have much, much, much, much bigger fish to fry even if we had let Shaq go.

I honestly think the biggest factor with the lack of elite left handed QBs has to do with the value of left handed pitchers in baseball. If you're a lefty with a strong arm, baseball is probably your safer bet.

That's certainly possible. It would be interesting to see if the percentage of NFL QB's that are left handed is lower than the population average. For instance, I saw a statistic listed that said only 4% of PGA players are left handed.

Edit: Found a good article on left handed QB's from a couple of years ago from one of my favorite websites.
