If Tua checks out medically I don't expect him to make it past 4.  We would be idoiots to not consider him at 8 if we move on from Cam.

I really don't think is in play anyway though.  If teams think he will fully recover he goes before we pick, if there are any question marks there is no way I'm using a top 10 pick on him.

And what line protection do you think will be there at 8, there will probably only be one top 10 offensive lineman in this years class.  No guarantee he will be there.

My best guess, WR, DT, CB, or S will be the players with the highest grades when it comes time for us to pick at 8.

He's injury prone and we have a crap line. Not a good combo.

Who I want at 8th

1. Tua Tagovailoa

2. Jerry Jeudy

3. Andrew Thomas

4. Derrick Brown

5. Isaiah Simmons

6. Jeff Okudah

7. CeeDee Lamb

8. Justin Herbert

9. Grant Delpit

10. Javon Kinlaw

Based on past Huddle experience I think all of these 10 guys will be gone by the eighth pick.

Washington QB Jacob Eason entered the draft. He needed another year but left bc he was gonna lose three o lineman, his top WR, and i think they have a new coaching staff coming in.

Obviously he isn't polished but is a first round talent and super similar to Herbert imo. Large QB, big arm, maybe not as mobile. Might be a wildcard for the first round bc he could get over drafted or maybe even be the Panthers pick. Stranger things have happened.

Tua is going to be a huge wildcard in this draft. Virtually everything about his draft stock hinges on his medicals and I anticipate plenty of smokescreens leaking out about him being off certain draft boards, etc. leading up to draft day.

Every QB outside of the one-year wonder heisman winner might be huge a risk this year, it's wild

He's basically a poor man's Drew Bledsoe. Huge arm, but an absolute statue. With the overall poor OL play in the NFL I don't like his chances in the modern game. He's a prototypical 1980s QB.
