If the Panthers were the unfortunate victims of me being "right", then so be it, although any reasonable person knows that when they lose it's their fault, and not the fault of a fan who simply knows they suck.  I didn't say I wished the Bengals would beat us.  I said I wish we would play them with the insinuation that my statement could prove itself out.  I will always pull for them, even when I am 100% certain that they will lose.

I so wish we could play the Bengals so they could stomp our asses.

No, your statement was that you wished they would stomp our asses if we played. That is completely different that "insinuating" BTW. Your statement was very direct. Speaking of English language....

Doesnt surprise me. He hasnt had the reps in practice all year...and doesnt have any timing with the receivers.

I'm not a Grier fan. I do think he was set up to fail though.

He's been our scout team QB, so he has gotten plenty of reps all year in practice, just not with our starting WR's and not specifically running our playbook. I would agree with the timing aspect but timing was less the issue that I saw than just simply accuracy.

What the fug are you arguing this for?? We suck really bad sorry these last 7 weeks haven't screamed this at you yet...

They have screamed bad. They have screamed awful. Do you understand the diffference between awful and worst?  Worst doesn’t just mean awful. I’m arguing because I’m tired of the constant extremism in use here. Yes we are bad. No we are not the worst.

Not everything needs to be screamed because the sky is not always falling. Stop hyperventilating and tone down the hyperbole.

You clearly didn't pay attention to my very last statement.  The fact that we are now in the bottom half, near bottom in those categories considering how we STARTED the season actually firmly cement my argument.

Show me something that is compelling that we are worse than the Bengals and Dolphins or the only thing I’ll agree you’ve cemented is demonstrating a poor grasp of rhetoric.

This is really not worth arguing about or playing the semantic game over.. But looking at the 7 teams with worst records.  I Honestly only think we as the team is now could only beat the Beangals.. The Redskins are the 2nd "worst" and we already lost to them..

We could beat the Lions, most likely. They get lost in the shuffle of bad teams but they are also on their #3 QB at the moment(Stafford and Driskell on IR). David Blough isn't better than Allen or Grier.

It’s interesting that the guy who inserted himself into an argument he wasn’t part of then declares that thing not worth arguing about.  Feel free to not argue about it any time you want.

Not my job.  I don't care if you agree.  I already told you I wasn't going to do your research for you.  I gave you a handful of compelling facts under the very relevant context that we started the season near the top of offensive and defensive rankings, and now are in the bottom third.  While the Dolphins and Bengals rankings sit lower than ours in said categories, they have actually made steady improvement in their on field performance while we are getting blown out left and right.  Maybe the total season stats looks better for us, but that does not mean we are currently a better team than either.  It paints a very ugly picture, whether you want to open your eyes and look at it or not.

It's not wise to quote something and then make yourself look stupid.

I said I wish we could play the Bengals.  If I wished they would stomp our asses, I'd say "I wish they would stomp our asses".  If we played them, I would be proven right, and more importantly, you'd be proven wrong. Them stomping our asses is the given.  I'm not saying I wish they would.  I'm saying it would happen regardless.  I wish we'd play them so that fact would prove itself out.  I'm not saying that I want them to lose this hypothetical contest, however.  Just saying it would, and I would then be proven right.  If you interpreted it wrong, your problem.

Marty keep's his crushes such a secret that I nailed the Burns and Grier picks in my final mock.

The same thing happened the previous year with Moore. If he continues to telegraph the picks, he's going to get jumped at some point and we'll lose out on someone we wanted.

It's pretty unreal the lack of firm grasp of what you actually wrote is.

The point that should absolutely be remembered here is that you would actually wish for your own team to lose rather than lose an argument on teh interwebz. I think we see how much of a "fan" you really are.
