Little late, but London was my favorite "big city" that I have ever been to.  Loved it over there, didn't hurt to see the Panthers play while I was there.

Two things that jumped out at me...the food was really good, and the women were beautiful.

I liked it although it probably wasn't my favorite.  If I had to choose a favorite big city, would probably be Rome.  But that is because I am a history buff.

I have made it to Rome, Paris, London, Istanbul, Jerusalem, Cairo, Kiel, and Trondheim.  I want to take one more Europe trip before I get to old to enjoy it.  That being Athens/Greece.

Never been to Rome, will be on the list moving forward at some point.  Next trip is likely Scandinavia or Ireland/Scotland.  Munich was a really fun trip, and Switzerland....I would move there tomorrow if they would have me.

As to the big city thing, I was just much happier there than say NYC, DC, LA, Paris, etc...not really sure why, but I liked it a lot.  Wonder how I would feel about Tokyo?

Yeah I want to do Tokyo badly. Yes it'll be crowded, but I live in NYC so it won't freak me out. I liked London a lot. Berlin was cool too. Worst place I've been is Venice. What a hole.

Really the only two major cities I care about seeing at this point are Moscow and Tokyo....I'm sure there are others, but those top the list currently.

Our Uber driver yesterday was from eastern Europe and he said New Year's in Moscow is a blast.

Hope you had a great time!

I visited London while in college, had a great time buying beer at age 19 haha. Had my first New Castle Brown Ale.

The violence rate is may be lower than USA's but theft is more of the opposite. Not just in England but most European countries. Same for prostitution, child & sex trafficking.

British citizens are VERY friendly & usually love to speak with American citizens. Just be prepared to listen to strong accents. A citizen's accent is often MUCH stronger than a British celebrity's.

A few popular British shows include Doctor Who, The Graham Norton Show & Netflix's The Great British Baking Show (Why this show is so damn popular I don't get).

Oh, & be sure not to make a pose like this dumb chick. It's very offensive in England.

Cheers!
