I'm not one who is very adept at breaking down tape to evaluate interior lineman, but he's been pretty bad to mediocre the past few years.

PFF has graded him poorly the past couple of seasons, and the very simple eye test seems to match that.

Is he dealing with injuries, is it scheme related, did he gain weight?

 

He has been poo ever since he got his contract extension. Just looks like he is going through the motions

Paradis has trouble with the DTs that are very good at bullrushing, but otherwise he hasn't been that terrible. Our tackles get beat so bad that the QB has to step way up in the pocket and the interior of our oline folds quickly because of it. If we stop asking him to play all 5 positions on the oline and let him focus on being a C, he will probably look better.

That's bullcrap go back and watch some film. Paradis is the PROBLEM!!!!

No. As usual you’re a step behind. That’s the excuse people having been giving for Paradis playing like crap. It was Sarcasm. I’m not surprised you didn’t get it.

      btw, mingo supposed to play tonight.  we want Cowboys to lose for more than one reason, but they are imploding and their 4th round pick is ours. Rams started rough this year, we have their second rounder, and for a while it a in the top 10 picks.  they are going the opposite direction of the Cowboys.  I do think they have Kansas City after us, so that will help

      You go after my guy with nonsense like "I don't see quickness or explosiveness" and "I haven't seen a lot of quickness or full route tree ability that we always ignore" Then yea, I'm gonna punch back. Like I've said, if people want to draft someone else, that's totally fine, everyone has their own opinions.  But if you're going to advocate against a specific player, don't talk complete nonsense about their game like this. Even more so, don't do that when you're saying I'm the one with a bias towards him. If I was afraid of it looking like a bias pick on my part, I'd never have said I was an Arizona alumni when arguing for him, but I've admitted it from the very beginning, because I don't think my Arizona connection gives me a bias, it just means I know his game REALLY well as I've seen every snap of his college career.  So yea, you start saying the knocks on him are things that he's actually really good at, then you're going to get an earful from me with some video evidence to back it up. In the end, for me, it all falls back to how rare a player like T-Mac can be due to his size.  The smaller speedier type of WRs are exactly who you can find in later rounds and who become available as Free Agents, I can't ever get on board with taking a Hunter (as a WR) or Burden over T-Mac if all were on the board, for that reason alone, and I'd say that if he was a freaking Sun Devil, no matter how much it would hurt me to admit if it if that were the case.
