What's going on with Trai Turner?

Projecting the future performance of Trai Turner is important in evaluating what our needs are on the offensive line.

I'm not one who is very adept at breaking down tape to evaluate interior lineman, but he's been pretty bad to mediocre the past few years.

PFF has graded him poorly the past couple of seasons, and the very simple eye test seems to match that.

Is he dealing with injuries, is it scheme related, did he gain weight?

Our success was literally Norwell - Ryan - Turner working as a team and being beastly. Lose two pieces and Ryan directing them. That’s what happens. We haven’t had a continuous line since then.

Turner is all about his money. He will play better next year looking for a future contract. I got a feeling he did not work as hard as he usually does this offseason. Also having Van Roten and Paradis doesn't help.
