Stefanski's head coaching aspirations had to have taken a mighty blow last night. I can't imagine anyone watching that game and thinking, "Damn, if only we had the Vikings' OC running the show we'd be on a trajectory to win a SB!"

Don’t know why some are obsessed with Stefanski. I don’t see anything that screams greatness out of the guy. Minnesota’s run game is pretty good just like ours, but the passing game has really went downhill for them.

Most every one of these young offensive hires since this became a trend has  been a disappointment. Poster Child McVay is struggling with a roster loaded to the gills with talent.

Shanahan is doing good in SF but this fanbase would flip out if the new coach started with 6-10  and 4-12 seasons.

This is exactly the thing. We can’t run the next guy out of down if he struggles early. Gotta give it time. It’s so important in sports.

Lol what?  His team scorched the league on offense his first two years there, which led to a Super Bowl appearance, and even in a "down" year for the team with his QB playing like garbage, they will probably finish 9-7.

You have a ridiculous standard if you think he's struggling.  And quite frankly will not be happy with any head coach hire we make if that is the case.  The only teams off the top of my head who were able to avoid down seasons were teams QBd by Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.  Maybe the Seahawks too, although they did miss the playoffs at 9-7 in 2017.  But the NFC was filthy that season.  Same as this year.  The Rams will be fine.
