It's the tackles they didn't have that defines them.

Ron finally gave into all the chirping about the lack of QB pressures and sacks the past few seasons and switched to the 3-4, which obviously this defense was not set up for.  He kept preaching all along sacks were not everything.  Well, sacks did go up, but the rest of the defense went to sh!t.

He has a a lot of tackles because he gives up a ton a plays.  I’m sorry but politics aside, Reid sucks.  The new coach will probably cut him loose

He’s not even that bad in intermediate short range coverage. Just anything that’s a reciever route down the field. Go back to 4-3 Move him to OLB and draft a fuging career safety early. 

Something I pounded the table for all off-season. He’s modern off ball LB. Play to his strength, don’t expose his weakest trait. That’s a much more reasonable contract than Shaq and spend the difference finding DL that can occupy a OL once in awhile.
