McCarthy interviewed after Colts game

Wouldn’t be happy with hiring him, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t interview him. One of the best hiring strategies is to interview as many people as possible. It makes it easier to be objective and compare and contrast candidates.

Just one Super Bowl appearance (which at least was made to count) makes me believe it's not the greatest statistic. Personally, McCarthy strikes me as someone that would be better as a short-term solution that a coach that will be here after 5~7 years.

There have been a few that have been close. Parcels and Holmgren both came close. Fox went to two Superbowls with two different teams. Truth is though.mmnot many SB champs outside of the Patriots, Steelers, and Giants the past 15 years. Seahawks, Eagles, Saints, Ravens, and Broncos. All of those teams still have their coaches outside of Denver.

I want to officially say that I would be okay with him if he's the hire. I feel like people nationally have a bad view of him because of a perceived battle between him and Aaron Rodgers and Aaron Rodgers will win a PR battle against anybody.
