Could former #GoDucks and Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart (@Jonathanstewar1) come out of retirement?

Would be happy for him if he does.  Stewart has always been a class act, unlike his counter part in "Double Trouble".

He is from Washington state IIRC and he went to Oregon, so it would be a natural fit.  I do believe he moved to Charlotte permanently though

Probably not. He had very little left, much less than Lynch last year who a,ready seems to be their top target.

I would have zero sour grapes about it. The Seahawks are chasing a title, from his home region, and in desperate need of a RB. I'd be fine seeing him get to end his career with some better hardware. He is more than deserving.

I wouldn't blame him if they did, but damn... if they're that desperate they're done for. The last time Stew averaged over 4ypc was 2015. If they want to bring in a washed up old RB, they'd probably be better off with Lynch. He still averaged comfortably over 4ypc in each of the past two seasons.

Agreed, the Panthers let him go and he was nothing but gracious about it. I really can't think of another ex-Panther on another team I would root for more than him.
