We're the best of a bunch of historically bad teams, two of which have won Super Bowls. All of which have had consecutive winning seasons.

The Panthers are perhaps the least consistent team in the NFL. The positive of that is that at least we haven't been consistently bad. The negative of that is that we've never established any period of consistent success either. The closest we came to that claim is winning three consecutive division titles gifted to us by a historically terrible division in 2014.

Actually, let me edit my original comment. It could happen much sooner, depending on the scenarios.

We are a historically very average team. 19th overall in the NFL in all time winning percentage(through 2018).

He's a hell of a competitor, only a fool would deny him that. As far as being a leader, you can only expect so much from your running back. Fair or not it more falls on the guy behind center than anyone else on offense. Especially with young developing receivers. That's a void we have been unable to fill. Here we are as the worst team in the league currently.

Would u trade cmc for Ezekiel Elliot?

I swear if CMC comes within 50 yards of breaking Chris Johnson's record for all-purpose yards, I will be so pissed.  He got pulled in the last series versus the Colts and Rivera pulled him on the last series in a couple other games. Pretty sure he'll get into the 1,000/1,000 club, but again, if he falls just short because he got pulled a few times, that would be a travesty.  Honestly, that will be the only reason I'm watching Sunday.
