It wasn't last week when everyone was calling Allen Trash after putting up 24 points on a far superior team than the Colts.

Neither of these quarterbacks are currently going to save the Panthers so why are you so hellbent on bashing one to prop up the other? Are you really that infatuated with Kyle Allen? If so Kyle may need to put out a restraining order.

The kid show me more gunslinger and playmaker than Allen did in 12 weeks.. He  needs more seasoning.. And more WR's with balls.. 2 of those Ints were CB having more gusto than the WR.. The Ball was put in places for guys to make plays instead of throwing right to the DB like Allen did a few times... If the WR would have put more effort/fight for the ball those would have been big plays..  Add his movement in the pocket which Allen hadn't shown at all.. I think we may have something here... He alone prevented atleast 4 sacks with his movement in the pocket.. Allen would have been sacked and fumbled 3x today..

You're right. Gunslinged it right to the defense while showing guts getting stuffed 4th and Inc's. He also has the ability to score zero TDs on a second rate team. Not like Allen who put up 24 point on that trash team Seahawks.

I've been saying for weeks our Oline sucks. It's the Oline fault for the entire season. Yet I was told stfu it's all on Allen. Welp I'm hear to gloat. Fix the fuging line next year and let's see who's a back up.

Yikes. The oline has been bad all year, regardless of starter. This isn't controversial. Bad qb play had also been an issue. Kyle is a turnover machine. Sheesh, almost like you can't have independent thoughts here.

That turnover machine put up 24 points on the Hawks. Your boy put up zero and was a turnover machine.

Enough with this quarterback controversy poo.

Let's talk Turkey.

We know the OL is awful. We know we need a better answer at QB in 2020 than Kyle Allen or Will Grier if it can't be Cam Newton. Who are you willing to part with to achieve acquiring that quarterback? If we want it, that's what it's going to take in all likelihood unless we just tank and go winless in 2020.

Realistically it can only be Cam if we want to make a playoff run. If Cam can’t do it then we are in for a long season. Cause we don’t have another option and I don’t see one falling into our lap in FA somehow

The good - He had great feel in the pocket, and showed impressive ability to extend and sometimes convert plays with his legs.  Held onto the ball when being sacked 5 times. Threw the ball with touch when dumping it off.

The bad - Could not throw the ball with accuracy beyond 10 yards consistently.  Best throw of the day was an overthrow to Olsen that may have gone for 20 if it was a completion.  Did not seem to regularly make reads past his first.  Made poor decisions throwing the ball quite often.  Seemed to get worse with decision making as the game went on - unsurprising given we were so far down.

All in all, he did not seem ready to start, but we might as well give him another start to get him some more reps with the 1s.

Should also add, the playcalling helped him out occasionally, but the QB sneak was asinine, and the decisions on what to go for it on 4th vs kick a FG was ... weird.

Imagine being so mentally deficient that you think Will Grier was SLOW in the pocket but Kyle Allen isn’t. Imagine having that low of an IQ.

Allen would’ve been sacked at least 10 times today. Grier escaped more sacks and extended more plays today than Allen has in his entire career.

What's that?
