Well it depends on the player because i know certain players get bashed when they are going for records but the team is losing. Fans call them selfish and me first players.

Me i dont care. Football teams can cut u anytime or not wanna pay a player. Only leverage they have when negotiating is their stats basically. It is what it it.

I didn’t watch the game but kept up on ESPN. 

I mean if CMC gets his knee blown out in a complete shitshow blow out loss chasing this record people would flip their lids. 

His season stands on its own as great with or without the dual 1000k season.   I’m ok just shutting him down

From what I gather, its not the staff making him play...Its CMC that wants to be on the field.

CMC has literally been the only bright spot on this team all season and we are losers for wanting this guy to get his due with records?  God awful fuggin season in Panthers history, one of the worst but McCaffrey on an individual level has had one of the best seasons all time as a running back.  If the rest of the team actually gave as much as a poo as he has, maybe we would have won more games.  If I am a loser for being a McCaffrey fan in your eyes...so be it.  I'll add you to the list with the other 80% ish fans of this team that I can't stand.

Yeah, you have to protect players from themselves.   I got no problem with CMC wanting to play. Like when Cam broke his back and wanted to play that very week.
