Chris Chambers was irrelevant when he left Miami. That last season with them was a sign of things to come. He sucks, he's done.

He was actually pretty decent year the year he's was traded(2007), where he had 970 yards and for 4 TDs and he may have missed a game in transition, and he had 278 yards and another TD in the playoffs for the Chargers that year. So he's been invisible for about a year and a half.

Would I do it if he was affordable? Yes, it's not like the Panthers have anything to lose from that position. Only one TD from a WR all year, I would just go for it. Hell, it may not make a difference, but at least that could be said that they tried to improve, just try for a one year deal.
