Chris Chambers As a #2?

I love how "we" got Jarrett in a rhythm with that one pass and then left him to grow cold and lonely all over again. If we get the kid some passes and let him AT LEAST get in a groove, then he'll be able to show us IF he has anything. But alas, we need a QB for that don't we?

prior to this year, chambers has always been decent but not consistent.

with the chargers he has been having to deal with vincent jackson and gates as the #1 and #2 receiving options and then LT2 and sproles ahead of him as well.

he has also been inactive more because they were having so many problems with Dline depth than anything.

he wasn't a factor in san diego but that doesn't mean he couldn't be given a chance.

he can make big plays and, once in his groove, can do some good things. a couple years ago he was the only good thing there was about the dolphins and they traded him away.

still, like has been said, we aren't a passing team. it doesn't matter who all we get as WRs...jake is going to be limited in his throws.

i'd rather see us work with jarrett, moore, rosario, barnidge, king, and the RBs (goodson included) before we started looking outside the organization.

The thing I really don't get is we don't utilize him with fades and passes to the back shoulder to let him take advantage of his size. Like I said before the ARZ game, I was excited about him, Barnidge, and Martin being forced into extended playing time b/c Fox has shown throughout his career that he holds guys back that should be on the field and leave guys who should be on the bench out there.

All 3 guys proved me right...

Yeah Gantt just said we wont put a claim in on him off waivers b/c of his contract... With the consensus on his performance this year being horrible, I don't see any team taking on that contract from waivers... So maybe we'll see about him if he clears waivers.
