The Falcons had just beat the Saints.

Yeah we were in playoff contention then and Atlanta was basically eliminated.  Came into our stadium and stomped us into the mud like it was for the division title.

But with DJ Moore on the field, with Shaq Thompson on the field, with the baby goat on the field, with Rivera — who I’ll politely assume is better than Fewell — on the field, we scored 3 points at home against a two-win team with one win in its last nine games. That’s a bad as it gets. We had to sweat out not getting skunked. That to me was the worst loss since 2010. I expected to hang with them.

Today in most ways was what I expected. Six points sucks but we also passed up kicks and were in the red zone four times, which is at least as many as the opponent gets every half.

adamscb from Indianapolis - you guys were down to your third-string quarterback, but you fought until the end. I'm a huge McCaffrey fan, and hope he breaks the 1000/1000 mark next week.

Vernon Butler Jr - Never heard of him before this game, and I doubt I will ever hear his name again. I understand a scuffle with an opposing linemen, but then to punch the tight end in the face who had nothing to do with it, classless act by a trash player. Then to call it just "football" and a "bang-bang play", shows his own lack of intelligence. If he can't stay composed while being man-handled by the guy across from him then get out of the league.

CMC and Moore is our hope for the future.  The team started 5-3 then lost the remaining games,  expecting to see many new faces next season from top to bottom.

I was at the game front and center. It was the worst display of football I have watched in a while.

I watched the game on tv, and this team was a great example of why certain players should never make it to the NFL. We lack speed, strength, and intelligence.
