I thought he threw a couple of nice deep balls.  He missed Olsen by inches on one.  He skillset is the opposite of Allen's.   Avoids pressure, throws fairly well on the run, and can throw it deep.  Allen can't throw it deep, can't avoid pressure, but is not bad at the intermediate stuff.  Maybe if we could combine them into a single qb.

I haven’t been impressed with Grier at all. Well, I take that back; he has shown the ability to avoid pressure. He’s not very accurate, and can’t push the ball downfield 

It's basically what many have been saying all along since before the season even started back when some fans were clamoring for us to draft a quarterback just to say we did. None of the QB's we've had on the roster have been the answer. Fans are still trying to get Newton out that door, but I don't think they're really prepared for what we could be facing the next few years if we can't hit on a stud QB in the draft.

I was too...sad...so sad...but he never was a big time tackler.  Plays too soft to be a Number 1 shutdown CB.
