not exactly.  There were posters (correctly) pointing out that many, many QBs have bad OLs and still play better than Allen has.  But IMO, any young QB that doesn't have generational talent, and has to play with a line as bad as ours, is gonna suck.  Which is what you see for a lot of the young QBs

He's a good in the box safety. Liability in deep coverage, but it's on the staff to put their players in position to succeed. He's a classic Cover 3 SS. If you want to play two deep or have your safeties switch off on who's playing deep and who's playing shallow then he's not your guy.

Blindsided by RR getting canned after the end of last season and this terrible season?  I think everyone at the very least thought Ron was gone after this season and I can't see how it is all that surprising he was let go after the losing skid we got on.

That's pretty much the kind of safety that Ron Rivera always preferred.
