oh Allen is much rougher than Cam, but he reminds me a lot of a proto-Cam, haha.  Perhaps Allen can improve his passing, we'll see.

It's not my top choice but if that's what we get, I'll hope for the best.

You can say “not my top choice” all you want but the fact that you’ve posted hundreds of times in the past few weeks about Pats FO/coaching candidates and little about the others says a lot. And anybody with a brain can see that Belichick is the entire operation. Nobody who has left (FO or coaches) has actually had real success. And it’s especially stupid to pick from their FO because their FO moves aren’t even good there. Belichick the coach being so good makes up for Belichick the GM (and the rest in their FO) sucking. Overall their drafting is well below average and their trades are rarely successes. Not too many big FA busts (AB this year though...) but the FA successes are all due to Belichick’s scheming. How many times have we seen players he signed for cheap or drafted that fit his scheme then leave for money and suck (Dion Lewis, Butler, Solder, etc. just in recent years)?

The coach that I would want us to hire doesn't even seem to be in the running. Of our actually speculated choices, I don't really have a favorite yet.

I'm posting the news that's out there. Doesn't mean it's what I want to happen. That really shouldn't be a difficult thing to understand but it's something that a lot of people here don't seem to get.
