I suspect they will be in the market for a plan B if things with Cam doesn't work out.  But I'm positive they will not be relying on Allen and or Grier to flounder through next season.   Unless the plan is to tank for their QB in the draft next year.

Again this may be an option

But in a year your trying to hire a HC, thats not a option you even want.  No good HC candidate is going to want to sign up and come in to a situation where he is pretty much told to tank.

You and Ron Rivera might be the only two people left on the face of this Earth who think the stars could align in such a fashion that Kyle Allen becomes a legitimate long-term starting NFL QB.

I'm not really worried about a idiots opinion. Half this board was calling Matt Moore trash yet he's still playing in the NFL. Sometimes players get put in poor positions. Time will tell but I'm not writing off any QB this year.

As a starter? Yeah, Matt Moore was and is trash. He's carved out a nice long career for himself as a backup. Hell, I hope Kyle Allen can do the same.

See, that's an assumption that I don't agree with.

A guy like Mike McCarthy or like Josh McDaniels would be in position to be demanding. Nobody else really is. The rest will just have to take what they can get or wait till next year.

Why do you hold McDaniels in such high regard, yes, his resume, but all his success is when Brady is the QB and Belichick is the coach lol

Jim Harbaugh man, Jim Harbaugh .. which I'm sure will make you mad because it will signal we're all in on Cam

Don't think that means we are all in on Cam lol. Harbaugh is not leaving Michigan dude why would he? Making over 10 mil a year, also he has control and say so. If you think he is coming back to coach us then you will be upset

A good HC candidate may also believe they can draft a decent QB without the #1 pick, and may see us as an opportunity to build a good offense once they get the right QB for their scheme.

Any offensive minded head coach would be drooling the prospects of utilizing Cam's ability.  Look what Chudinski did with Cam his first two years. Had we had a decent defense back than we could have really gone far. I would say 99 out of 100 coaches would prefer Cam over our current QBs.

I am a believer that Cam will return 100% and win a Super Bowl.  I just pray it is in Carolina.
