I'm not allowed to play trivia games. Even when I was, I had to have a handicap like answering an entire card or something.

These days, they only let me read the questions.

But yeah, draft coverage has changed a lot over the years. Back when Joel Buchsbaum did it, he took his own notes. These days it's more that guys just interview scouts.

And to be fair, the whole thing is getting so big now that to ask one person to cover that much is probably a lot. Heck, even Kiper uses a scouting service.

Kipers scouting service is for whoever can make his hair helmet able to withstand a round from  Barrett 50 cal.

The first draft I ever watched was the one with "Who in the hell is Mel Kiper Jr?" Before I moved, I always used to get together with the same buddies and whenever Kiper was introduced, we'd all repeat that.

I was really interested in the movie Draft Day until it came out. I was hoping for a more in depth look at the strategy in the process, but it turned out to be a chit show, just like the Browns.

Yeah, I was disappointed too. Ending wasn't exactly realistic either.

since mr scot is literally banned from trivia for being too smart it sounds like he's earned the right to be condescending to everyone 

because surely that's what's going on here and not that gaping personal deficiencies have led him to catastrophically overreach in other areas like compulsively needing to be the smartest guy in the room in order to have some kind of identity because being insufferable is still better than the yawning despair of anonymity
