He obviously has some issues. I'm not sure if he's racist but at the very least he's very ignorant.

Check my posts once Cam was drafted.

You can also go back and find when I stumped for us to draft Pat White.

Or for that matter, look at this year when I'm open to just about anybody, including plenty of black quarterbacks (save Tua due to the injury concerns).

That is of course, unless you don't want to see the actual facts and only really care about continuing to defend what you're saying whether it's true or not.

the racism quiz and pointed article being prior to the draft? Or was there something more recent?  Not discounting it / excusing it, just making sure I know what you are talking about.

Yeah prior to drafting Newton and hell even when I brought it up like yesterday he still made excuses for the writer saying he uses a lot of info from other sources and he liked his predecessor better.

You are correct.

This is probably going to be about the most eventful offseason we've had in a long, long time. It's reasonable to expect the team will look a lot different come this time next year.

Hopefully, it's for the better. That's not guaranteed either.

The racism quiz was a bunch of blind profiles to see whether people could pick out which ones were black quarterbacks.

They couldn't.

But yeah, draft coverage has changed a lot over the years. Back when Joel Buchsbaum did it, he took his own notes. These days it's more that guys just interview scouts.

And to be fair, the whole thing is getting so big now that to ask one person to cover that much is probably a lot. Heck, even Kiper uses a scouting service.
