I think he is largely getting piled on for being too heavily of one opinion and not simply just saying, "Perhaps. We will see." He tends to play the contrarian angle to any argument for Cam staying in 2020. It doesn't really make his argument invalid but it makes him appear very entrenched in a specific point of view. Being that big of a defender of one angle/side is always going to draw some heat.

The truth is, insider perspective or not, none of us knows what is going to transpire. We are doing the same thing as the journalists, speculating.

Too heavily on one side yet we have posts like ‘There is literally 0% chance Cam is not the starting QB and suiting up for the Panthers in 2020’.

And these are the type posters he’s generally responding to.

The same posters who want to flame him for racism lol what a joke. That’s just Mr Scott’s personality. A ‘wait and see’ poster who posts a lot in general terms. Which may annoy people.

But make know mistake Scott knows a lot about little NFL/football things that are interesting to read/know for those of us who follow football outside of Cam. His posts, while some may be annoyed with the tone, provide much more enjoyment than all these insecure Tinderbox trolls.

A pretty good chunk of that crowd is on my ignore list, so I may not be seeing all their drivel.

Speaking in definitives is completely asinine at this point. None of us know what is going to happen.

It annoys people because that point of view doesn't actually say anything besides telling people they're wrong. There isn't even an 'I think...' attached to any of his posts.  Its just telling everyone they're wrong.

I'll leave it up to him whether he wants to post in this thread. Can't blame him for not wanting to.

As for the rest... :eyeroll:

So you won’t actually post what he says yet everyone is supposed to believe he has an inside track when you can’t even supply his actual quote(s) sure sounds like a great source there. Then you question why people disbelieve your stuff maybe because you won’t actually post what the source is or what they said just your take on what they said

I have sources to they are named Cam Newton and David Tepper, I’m willing to bet my sources know more than your sources on what Tepper and Newton will do, what do you think?

You're wrong.

I didn't say I think that, I was speaking generally on what some other people might potentially think. But really the only thing I can say is wait and see.  No point in discussing further. Can't tell me I'm wrong now!

I did end up finding the “sources” just makes me chuckle

3 guys that post here which is what everyone thought. Insane that everyone is supposed to instantly believe them while the owner and player says different. And this is coming from a guy who is firmly in the if we get an amazing deal you trade him camp.
