I’m not really a fan of NASCAR but to say it isn’t a sport is ignorance. If its a competition that takes hand eye coordination and stamina, it’s a sport. 
 

As far as the whole “soccer sucks” mentality, its popularity seems to be growing rapidly in the US as we are basically the only country in the world that doesn’t highlight it as the greatest sport to ever be played. Jump on board, or don’t. Trends come and go so get over it.

You're quite welcome. After all, it was former SC Governor and UN Ambassador Nikki Haley who set everyone straight about SC and the "service, sacrifice and heritage" the confederate flag symbolizes.

There are some elements of sports to stock car racing But the drivers sure as hell ain’t athletes. NASCAR is dying a really slow death. That don’t take 20k seats out of a venue for a “sport” that is thriving. It’s all a bunch of little rich kids who want to drive fast and turn left, and their parents are able to finance a team and buy engines from Hendrick.
