"Panthers need to address the Center position and the OT play will come"

It's funny, bc as I was watching the SNF game last night, and saw Morse out there for the Bills, all I could think was, "whodathunkit?"  Paradis was the best graded center in the league at one point before his injury and he was considered the best FA C by many this offseason.  I just did not think a broken leg would've had that effect, but it was either that or scheme-fit.

Remember Bene

Top rated rookie DB, started strong year 2.  Broken leg towards the end.  Year 3 starts, gives up 300+ to Julio then fell off the cliff.

Remember Jonathon Cooper out of UNC, top 10 overall super hyped OG.  Broke his leg first preseason.  Looked like a different player/trash after being tossed around the league.

We need to sign a stud LG and just pray Paradis gets better. Can we afford this though?

Ive tossed around in some mocks the idea (IF a top DT or QB is not there)  the idea of Jedrick Wills then the possibility of moving Moton back to LG.  Thats where most thought Moton should end up coming out of the draft

Paradis will be here for one more year

Likely 2 and he will be starting. I don't know why some people on here don't understand that. I truly think we see a new player next year. I follow offseason stuff hard and he was just rehabbing. Hardly lifted and never went head to head in pads till the end of training camp. Give him a LG and we will be fine

New staff, likely a new GM, and that contract is a sunk cost.

Putting a terrible player on the field because of his contract is beyond idiotic. Hopefully another off-season gets Paradis back to form, but he's honestly probably shot as a player and that's probably why the Broncos were willing to let him walk in the first place.

Moton is the only guy playing well and it’s surprising that he is considering how bad Turner has been. Let’s not move him around. Tackles, even RTs get drafted higher than Gs. We can use less draft capital to get a real LG than trying to move Moton there after two years of starting at RT and 3 out of 4 years at RT in college. Heck we could trade down and likely pick a top 2 G and a top 2 C. I’d rather do that than move Moton.

One blurb about Moton playing well at guard one game against Ohio State has stuck and become a he was a guard coming out of college. I don’t recall us ever discussing him at guard except when we were idiotically trying to get him into the lineup after Norwell left (and we ignored G in the offseason) while leaving Kalil at LT. I think Moton while learning would have been better than Kalil was.

Everyone had him projected a OG coming out.

He played OT and had the Ability.  At the time we were set at LG but needed a OT, thus the reason he was thrusted to OT.  And he has looked good there.  He has also looked good at OG the few times he's filled in.

You want your best players on the field and OTs are harder to find.  So if you can get a Wills meaning you move Moton to LG, you do it.
