You know I'm right though. The historical shelf life of RB's is short and the recent history of signing RB's to top five contracts is pretty rough.

I love having CMC here, but it is also going to be what CMC wants when the time comes.  What would he bring in a trade  ?  Its going  to cost us a ton of money to keep him and we could use that money elsewhere to plug at least a couple of holes and if we got a low first and second round pick for him it might be worth it.  We could potentially get a couple of starters in the draft and a couple of pretty good  vets for the money CMC is going to bring.
