That's 8 times the expected frequency you should expect from the top 10.  It's extremely difficult to draft Hall of Famers, anywhere in the draft.

 

I was referring to top 10 busts in general.  Some GMs have had that misfortune.  Yes, The Panthers have done well with top 10 picks.  Apparently the front office spends nearly all of their time researching the first rounders and not enough time dedicated to the rest of the draft.

For the sake of argument, how many of those players have gone to the HOF and gotten their jacket so far?

We were an expansion franchise, these things take time

Those guys are locks, but someone like Julius Peppers isn't even eligible yet

Agreed on all, but possibly Cam.  Had 2015 finished the way we wanted it to, I would say yes.  Without a ring, I'm not sure Cam gets a gold jacket.  In the discussion, absolutely, but maybe not the credentials to get over the hump without the hardware.  Pep, obviously and if they stay healthy/productive so will Luke and CMC.

Now close your eyes and imagine for a moment, what it would take?  What kind of talent it would take or the lack thereof to cancel out the effect of all those ridiculous athletes?  What kind of morons in the office and on the sidelines you would have to combine to negate the staggering amount of abilities you brilliantly lay out?  

The fact that Hurney is even still allowed to live in the states of North AND South Carolina is a slap in the face to every single man woman and child that has ever had the honor to call themselves a Carolinian.  He should be brought before the UN to answer for his crimes against humanity.  If it doesn't piss you off it fugin should.

I don't really follow champ, as we've been to the Superbowl twice, and should have won both of them

The Patriots cheated in the first one (and Fox did a terrible job coaching).

Mike Shula and refs cheated us out of the second one.

So that's two Super Bowls we should have won, as an small market expansion team.

Don't see how anything was 'negated' when this franchise should have 2 Super Bowls if not cheating/bad coaching (which is not a talent thing).

The whole point is by saying people are HOF is just trying to cover up for the complete lack of ability Hurney has, past 1 player. 1 player no matter how good(look to CMC) can’t make up for 52 other players.
