I don't think Allen has given up, he's just *bad*

Luke may be trying, but he doesn't look particularly good.  Seeing more of Shaq than Luke the last few weeks.  Teams definitely scheming to take Luke out of the game entirely.

Pretty sure Luke leads the NFL in tackles. So yeah...

er? he isn't even top (solo tackles) on the team.  I am pretty sure Reid and Shaq are both ahead of him.

edit: he is top on combined tackles on the team, but isn't in top 5 in the league this year.

Shaq yes, Reid no. Your defense sucks when your safety is a leading tackler.

Vern is the most pleasant surprise this year. No doubt. Went from potential XFL player to for sure getting signed somewhere.

The defense does suck, but it doesn't change the fact Reid is our leading solo tackler.  I agree that indicates a problem.  But he's only a few total tackles behind Luke too.

He’s 6th or 7th in the NFL as of last week.

yeah, he's just not leading the league as a different poster said.

imo, he's been great in pass defense as per usual but his rush defense... he just looks out of place... maybe that is just the entire D though.  hard to judge that.

It’s the byproduct of a porous 3-4, not Luke’s fault.
