Perry said he almost benched Donte.  Also said he gave no thought to putting in Grier.

Of course he didn’t. He’s been instructed not too. Throwing Grier out there will illustrate just how bad a pick it was and put Hurney under the microscope.

Why would he?  While the fan base is seemingly cool to tank the rest of the season for a better draft pick.  They don't care this guy is auditioning for  a full time job or else potentially being unemployed.

it is depressing to me that our 3rd round QB is such a developmental player that he is that far behind Allen... not like Allen looks at all good out there...

I hear ya, but looking bad is a better look than throwing in the towel altogether and that's what starting Will Greir will signify.

Unless his team is penciled as the NFLs Washington Generals and David Tepper really wants to "win games" he has to call New York or just show up (billionaire) about the appearance of officials favoring (sometimes greatly) certain outcomes.

The Panthers were losing badly but lost by 6. Think about it. You (Tepper) can talk that talk but that walk is to the head of officials office then the office of the commissioner. There has been historic bias shown against this Panther team.

The 49ers playoff game, the Clete f'n Blakeman Bowl, identical screw jobs to help GreenBay and Seattle get control of the game.

If we're not the Washington Generals Mr. Tepper, prove it.

The towel has already been thrown, we were eliminated from postseason contention. Right now we need to know who is most worth keeping beyond the obvious starters.

This "aw shucks, i'm just happy to have a franchise" nonsense is exhausting.

this is why I want Grier to play... although he will be on the roster either way, I think it is important to see him in some live game time... assuming he is not so atrocious the y already know he can't do a single thing... and I don't want to believe our 3rd rounder is that bad...

So getting blown out in the last two games while tinkering with the line ups is kosher to you?  I get it, there's nothing to play for.  But in-season roster construction isn't a good look.  You go tell Tepper get blown out 50 -3 is okay as long as other players get some live action looks.

Didn't get to watch the game but got to see some of the clips from it. Man, that last Touchdown by the Seahawks on 4th and 1 shouldn't have stood. NFL has a video up of "Chris Carson's best runs from 133 yard game" and it shows how absolutely badly one of their OL was Offsides. Dude was already standing and about to block before the snap happened and yet no flag? @1:16 into the video.
