That's some racist shat right there.  One, I am not a Allen fanboy and two I ain't "white knighting" for anyone.  I just find it odd a Panthers 'fan' pulling against a player just because their guy isn't in...and dare say at one point may have even been a threat to him coming back.  Obviously Allen has all but imploded since then, but I think the Cam crowd still resents the fact that Allen even posed a challenge to Cam's return.  It is SOOOOOOO obvious with a handful of you.

Oh, shut up.

Well if we draft a franchise QB and get healthy we'll be ok. Just depends on if we can land a QB.

Short of a few players, the defense needs to be totally retooled to run a 4-3 ( this clown circus scheme needs to go.) The Oline is a mess.....need more then a QB to fix this.

No, I've heard it. I mean everyone is entitled to their opinion, even when it is wrong and borderline retarded as is your's when it comes to the best TE we've ever had. But carry on my man.

Greg's an all-time great, for sure. But his takes this year have been pretty horrid. Not sure what's so "retarded" about that statement.

    • Okay so I am reading something in The Athletic and it says that Jones had to pass through waivers. So I don't know. I looked this stuff up when we were number one there all offseason and I thought it said 4 years in the league got you vested, as they call it.  Vested gets you out of waivers as I understood it. I probably got something wrong, but when I think about the slack quality of journalism these days I wonder about that. So I went and looked, again. Well, well.  For everyone: "When a player has accrued at least four seasons in the NFL, they are considered a vested veteran. When these vested veterans get cut, they are released and their contract is terminated. When a vested veteran is released, they are an unrestricted free agent that can sign with any NFL team, and the team that released them doesn’t need to provide any additional compensation." It runs it all down here, where the quotes came from: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/waived-vs-released-nfl/ As far as Jones, the team turned down his 5th year option so I knew that meant he had 4 years in, because they re-signed him anyway, after turning down the much cheaper extra year.  The Athletic is owned by the New York Times so I shouldn't be surprised. That paper was an institution once upon a time but they let their standards go.
    • Well, we got our answer on Army today.
    • Not a chance the SEC could compete with the NFL.  In the large cities that are not in the Southeast, (LA, NYC, Chicago, SF) College football is an afterthought.
