Inside Panthers-Saints (how I see it)

the saints only run and play defense because they have a quarterback that can put up fifty points in the blink of an eye.

if they had to trot brunell out there, they wouldn't be able to run, and now all of a sudden the defense has to respect the run.

manning is hurt and trent edwards sucks

You act like the Saints get out to an insurmountable lead every game, they haven't.

I also have to point out if you lost Brees your season is most likely over. If we lost Jake ours would most likely improve.

I like Jake & all, but that one is pretty damn funny!

And I think Moore should play against the Saints & let Jake take a rest for the day from his injury yesterday. Maybe Moore will play differently than Jake & trick the 'Aints defense.

sharper isn't as good as adrian wilson

 So a HOF safety that leads the league in interceptions and returns for td's in the league isn't as good as Adrian Wilson? Wow!

greer isn't as good as rodgers cromartie by a damn sight

How you figure that??? Have you watched what Greer is doing this year?

vilma is the third best mlb in the NFC South, I'm not sure how that's considered elite.
Beason and Vilma are about what and what IMHO. They both remind me alot of each other honestly....physically and statistically.

will smith has never in his life been elite. ellis is hurt and okay on his best day.

When healthy Will Smith is very good but not elite. On his best day, Ellis is elite.

stop avoiding the fact the saints have feasted off of terrible QB play, and are going to ride that into the playoffs

Which makes it more puzzling why Panthers fans think they're gonna run all over us.

If Saints stock 7 or 8 in the box and start stopping the run, what is Delhomme going to do? Beat us in the pass?

Yea, ok....

He has had our number in the past; but this isn't the same Delhomme....not even close.

The Panthers CAN beat the Saints. Will they? Now that's another matter.. We've done it in the past and Jake knows that venue like the back of his hand and has never lost in that dome. The only thing is that they look like the best team the Saints have put together. They're very well rounded now in all 3 phases. Next week the Panthers have the Falcons,so they really have to keep the pace started against the Cards. If Pep can do to Brees what he did to Warner....Oh Happy Day!!!!!!!!

I know the Saints will be missing a key piece due to injury but it looks like the Panthersl be missing more then one key piece due to injury. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. The Saints are being touted as the best team in the league with only the Pats ahead of them and to be honest, IMO, they look better then the Pats and they are undefeated.

I don't think anyone is saying the Pats are a better team than the Saints, I believe the argument is that the Pats are the only team left on their schedule that has even a chance of beating them.

I'd have to say the Colts are the only team that can even be compared to the Saints right now.
