talented? The Saints have elite talent at every level of the defense, Smith/Ellis, Vilma, Sharper/Greer.

as for fast starts, the only time i can think of this decade is 2002 and brooks got hurt to finish the year=jake in carolina and no playoffs.

sharper isn't as good as adrian wilson or antrel rolle

greer isn't as good as rodgers cromartie by a damn sight

vilma is the third best mlb in the NFC South, I'm not sure how that's considered elite.

will smith has never in his life been elite. ellis is hurt and okay on his best day.

what in the world was i thinking of

Saints beat Miami and the Jets, who are the teams in the top four.

also it should be pointed out that the saints, as "AMAZING" as their comeback was, needed a billion plays, thirty five dropped passes to ted ginn, and an egregious blown call to pull it out

what do the following players all have in common besides the fact they play for arizona

Dominic Rodgers Cromartie

Adrian Wilson

Bryant McFadden

Calais Campbell

Darnell Dockett

Karlos Dansby

Chike Okeafor

they'd all start in new orleans

Sharper is responsible for 21 points, six INTs, and the lack of big passing plays on the saints. You were also the one who called him done in the offseason. How would you like that crow again?

Greer has blanketed every WR he has played. Hard to point out a CB playing better than him right now. I'm not up to date with Cromartie's play so I won't go one way or the other here.

NFCS is loaded with MLBs, Vilma is top 5 or 10 in the league.

will smith has never in his life been elite. ellis is hurt and okay on his best day.

you mean his best day when he literally lived in the Buffalo backfield a few weeks ago?

Smith is a playmaker, his sack totals are always around 7-11 but that's not the best gauge of him.
