If Cam is traded will you follow him to a new team?

I won’t dump the Panthers

however I will always root for Cam. Always

gave his all to this franchise and you see what they are without him

he was a transformative player and having met him, seems like a truly nice human being.  Not a perfect human being but a decent human being

It seems like most athletes are pricks in some way.  Comes with the territory of narcissism that athletics at that level seems to require

We have recouped his value. If there is any serious doubt that he can be 100% we take a 2nd and a 3rd if someone would give it up. Granted maybe we think 80% Cam is still worth it which would be fine.

If we draft a QB like Tua this is exactly what will happen. I still say we need a line first but it's hard to pass on a player like that.

That would be like the biggest QB trade in history. I doubt we would get a first much less all the other stuff.

Breer believes that we get something in the range of the Alex Smith trade, i.e. two second-round picks.

Those would normally come in separate seasons, but I believe the Bears have two second-round picks in the next draft.

Cam goes to the Patriots next year after Brady retires, he's 100%, uses Belichick Satan worship magic to play till he's 48, wins 17 Super Bowls straight. His son gets drafted by the Patriots and wins 25 straight Super Bowls under Cyborg Belichick.

It brings up a question...

Cheering for the Panthers plus whatever team Newton plays for is absolutely a valid option, but what if Newton goes to a team that you hate?

If Newton were to wind up with the Falcons, Saints, Bucs, Cowboys, Steelers or Patriots for example, would that affect your decision?

(Note: some of those are highly unlikely scenarios, just speaking hypothetically)

Can we fire Hurney before we use those two second rounders?!

It’s amazing the reach Cam has been able to make to where he’s got numerous ppl willing to follow him wherever he goes and still support him. He’s a true super star.

Me, I’ve been a fan of this team for 20 years. If Cam goes, I’m having 2 favorite teams. NC is my home so, even if I’m upset with them, I’ll always root for the panthers. I’m also going to root for whatever team he goes to.

Sad aspect of this for me is that over 25 years as a Panther fan, I've seen plenty of favorite players leave.

I couldn't name a single one of them that went out on top or even left under the best of circumstances.

I'll grant that's rare in the NFL in general, but still...

This question should really only be addressed to anyone with a Cam avatar. If he were to go, and I think he's our starter next year, it will be fun to see him play against Rivera's next team. Lord knows we won't be able to beat Ron's team, lol.

What if he signs with Rivera's team?

That definitely could happen.
