If Cam is traded will you follow him to a new team?

I wouldn't stop being a Panthers fan. I'm a day one. I was working at Hardees near Columbia Mall as a high school senior when they first started talking about bringing an NFL team to the Carolinas. I left for college before they even decided on Charlotte as the location, but I was still so excited and proud that we had our own team. As long as the team doesn't move, neither will I. 

But... I would lose a lot of respect for the team. This isn't even about Cam. Yes, I'm a big fan of Cam's because he's the best QB my favorite/home NFL team has ever had. Let him get healthy even if he needs another year - I wouldn't care. He's rarely ever had competent offensive linemen, playcallers (I'm actually good with Scott or Norv) or legitimate playmakers to help him. Finally, finally, we have at least 2 out of the 3 and are actually making a friggin effort towards the line. Fix the line next season by ANY FRIGGIN MEANS NECESSARY. Trade picks. Trade players. I don't care. Right now Cam is this team's best chance to win a Championship. CMC ain't gonna win it. Luke ain't gonna win it. Bradberry ain't gonna win it. Olsen ain't gonna win it. And Kyle Allen damn sho ain't gonna win it.

I said this back when it was being said that Cam would be traded to the Rams as I am in SoCal. I really like Cam, I cant say this about any other player in any other sport. That would be the only perfect storm that would get me to follow him. I picked this team in 95 to make sure I wasn't a fair weather fan, like all the Niner fans back then.

I was still a Panthers fan after we let Bill Polian run to the Colts, Dom Capers  did the Sean Gilbert trade, Rae killed his wife, Winke, Jake making his best Kyle Allen impersonation against Arizona, 2009 Everette Brown and the Pickles 2010.

Cam was the first quarterback I’ve ever got truly excited about for us to draft, and he did some things that made me go wow— he might really be Superman.

but I’ll still be a Panthers fan.  I’ll still pull for him where ever he goes, except on game day when the Panthers have to play him. Then he has to die.

Why of course I will. I have no allegiance to the team outside of players. I like Luke so I will still cheer for Panthers, but until Cam retires I will be a fan of wherever he goes.

What is wrong with being a players fan? We all have our reason for being a fan.No reason to bash anyone for being a fan period. Any ways what makes a fan a fan? This is only bc it is Cam that we r having this discussion. Where is the Luke poll?

I only have one team.  Panthers. 

I pull for Deshaun Watson though.  Pending he isn’t playing Carolina.  I’d do the same with Cam.

I pulled for Smith ans TD when they left, I'll pull for Cam if he leaves. I only pull for the panthers as a team. Don't see what the big deal is other then pulling for Dwill that I can't understand. I have like others gave grief to Cam but I still have a lot of memories of the great things he did for this team and the area.
